DIMENSIONS: Motivational Interviewing for Behavior Change - Level I (Introductory)
In this two-day intensive training, participants will learn the fundamentals of Motivational Interviewing (MI), a collaborative conversational style that strengthens a person’s own motivation and commitment to change. Participants will be guided through a sequence of learning activities to support the development of proficiency in the application of MI. Through activities designed to facilitate a deep understanding of the core MI concepts, participants will have an opportunity to practice and implement basic MI skills and strategies to reinforce their learning.
