This two day intensive course  will include the intermediate/advanced of Motivational Interviewing, Third Edition changes:   

Participants will :

Intermediate Motivational Interviewing training is an intensive skill-building session. Participants are expected to arrive prepared to practice the skills that were learned in the introductory level training. If you are already comfortable with the following concepts, you are probably ready for the intermediate level:

Intermediate Course

This course is open to people who have a sufficient degree of theoretical knowledge and a practical experience of applying M.I. The course will be facilitated over four weekly three hour facilitator led on-line sessions, (2-5pm GMT) starting on Monday 2nd of November and concluding on Monday 23rd of November 2020. On the Intermediate course participants will expand on theoretical principals, deepen understanding, increase technique range and develop skill base to progress competency.

This five-day symposium will offer a series of techniques for transforming the most problematic challenges encountered in everyday caregiving. The spirit, skills and structure of Motivational Interviewing are immediately applicable to clinicians, healthcare workers, therapists, and caregivers in all kinds of clinical settings. Here we will approach the daunting task of creating hope within hopelessness, gracefully exploring a person's spirituality and looking at trauma through a compassionate lens.
