Motivational Interviewing Fidelity Coding Training with the MITI 4.2.1
How do we know it’s really good MI? Motivational Interviewing trainers, Margo
Bristow and Onna Brewer, are excited to offer this highly interactive, online course
walking participants through use of the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity 4.2.1
Coding Manual (“the MITI”) for fidelity coding of audio recordings. We’ll also practice
providing helpful and MI-consistent coding feedback for MI learners and discuss ways
to grow in coding proficiency and reliability.

● 16 hours of live online interactive instruction with
opportunities for Q&A
● Access to handouts, slides, audio recording samples,
and sample coding sheets
● CE credits approved by the Illinois Department of
Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
● Ongoing support with membership in our MI Coding Lab for
the year following this event, includes 1 free co-coded
tape to support new coder inter-rater reliability (IRR)
