I am a professor at Gachon University College of Nursing and have been teaching and researching in the field of psychiatric nursing.
I have been mainly interested in the recovery and rehabilitation of severely mentally ill people, and have been counseling college students and individuals who are experiencing various mental health difficulties such as interpersonal difficulties, depression, anxiety, and severe mental illness.
I would like to introduce and train motivational interviewing in the clinical and educational fields of nursing.
Also, I hope that motivational interviewing will be widely used in the field of mental health prevention and promotion.
