I equip leaders and their teams to better manage change. I am a trainer, coach, advisor, and speaker based in Maine, USA.
I help clients build the skills they need to engage others in change and the plans they need to work together to achieve it. I have 15+ years of experience supporting hundreds of mission-driven organizations seeking to improve the health and well-being of their patients, clients, and communities. My work draws on the disciplines of Change Management, Behavioral Science, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Reflective Listening, Continuous Improvement, Deep Canvassing, Negotiation, and Mediation.
In addition to my training in MI, I am a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and a faculty member with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, where I support health care organizations in adopting evidence-based practices.
I help organizations create sustainable change, with clients and within their teams. Poor conversations about change are the #1 reason that I have seen changes fail. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is the most effective discipline I have found for improving those conversations.
I am blown away that more people don’t use MI to manage change with others. I am driven to provide more accessible and skills-focused training, coaching, and advisement to help bridge that gap.
