I am a licensed Marriage and: Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, and a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. In addition, I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a member of the American Family Therapy Academy, Academy of Certified Social Workers and certified as an Approved Clinical Supervisor, Certified Clinical Supervisor; NASW NJ approved Supervisor and AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
I have a passion for working with families and communities. I am in private practice in Verona, New Jersey providing supervision and marriage and family therapy. I utilize Motivatinal Interviewing in all my work.
I have first been trained in Motivational Interviewing after a one-year study with William Miller, the founder of Motivational Interviewing entitled Project Elicit, designed to provide clinicians with fidelity to the model andI I have now completed the Train the Trainers to become an official part of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers or MINT. I have been providing trainings in Motivational Interviewing for the last fifteen years and utilize the spirit of MI in all my work.
