I am a Motivational Interviewing Trainer with University of Wisconsin Health. I am passionate about respectful, collaborative conversations around behavior change. As an experienced healthcare clinician in direct patient care, I have practiced MI and person-centered care with individuals and groups in the clinical setting since 2008. Since that time, I have designed, developed and delivered MI training to physicians, nurses and other healthcare clinicians in effort to share the evidence-based practice with others. I have conducted Community of Practice Groups with Complex Case Managers and RN Care Coordinators to advance skills and uphold the fidelity and integrity of MI. My most recent work with UW Health is in the area of Transformational Leadership and health system change using the MI informed approach.
