I am a well season practitioner, trainer and consultant with experience in developing staff skills in corrections, chemical dependency, vocational rehabilitation, employment counseling and juvenile/adult treatment. I have developed his skills as a practitioner, trainer and coach over his 25-year career in training and staff development working with highly diverse populations. I am well versed in evidence based practices including cognitive behavioral programming, case management, risk assessment and motivational interviewing. I have consulted for many departments and agencies at the private, local, state and national level. My consultation has included strategic planning, implementation, and continuous quality improvement.
Since my TNT in 2008, MI has transformed my way of being with people in service and trainings. The Spirit of MI plays a significant part in my approach to training others and working with the people I serve. I strive to facilitate workhops, refreshers and coaching sessions that are culturally adept and accessible for all those who want to participate in the journey of learning MI.
