DIMENSIONS: Motivational Interviewing for Behavior Change - Level II
This two-day intensive training will focus on advanced application of MI for healthcare professionals including methods for:
- Strategically eliciting and strengthening change and commitment talk;
- Decreasing and managing discord
- Deepening skills of engagement and evocation.
This training will be held at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO on August 6-7, 2019. It will be facilitated by two well-seasoned MI trainers who are all members of the MINT. It is an ideal opportunity for health care providers who have prior training and reasonable proficiency in MI or for those who are fulfilling advanced training requirements for application to the MINT. The cost is $600.00 and includes breakfast and lunch. For Early Bird pricing of $499.00, register before May 30th.
