This class is for the helping professional who has had MI training in the past year and now wants
to apply specific MI processes and strategies for brief encounters. You will leave this course with
the knowledge that you CAN make a difference in a short amount of time.

Intermediate Motivational Interviewing training is an intensive skill-building session. Participants are expected to arrive prepared to practice the skills that were learned in the introductory level training. If you are comfortable with the following concepts, you are probably ready for the intermediate level:
