Jesse is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) who has a passion for supporting others' journeys in Motivational Interviewing (MI). His interest in MI came through experiences working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Jesse found that the compassionate, strengths-based and client-centered approach offed by MI was above and beyond the most effective method to help his clients in their recovery. Jesse incorporates elements of mindfulness, cultural humility and compassion into his practice and teaching of MI.
