Sam Malins is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in the crossover between physical and mental health. He works in clinical research and in cancer services. In cancer services he facilitates supervision and skills training for doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to support the Multi-Disciplinary Team. He also offers individual and group psychological therapies to cancer patients. Sam coordinates the psychological therapy delivered in clinical research employing psychological interventions to promote better physical health, mental health and quality of life. His research interests include optimisation of psychological therapies and novel applications of psychological interventions. This has included investigation of outcome feedback software and smart text-response systems to reduce risk of relapse.
