I am the Director of Research and Innovation at Prevention Strategies and adjunct faculty with the Institute to Promote Athlete Health and Wellness in the Public Health Education department at The University of North Carolina Greensboro. Motivational Interviewing has become a philosophical foundation for my engagement in all professional activites, from counseling and coaching, to curriculum design and digital intervention development. Let's collaborate!
Thank you for visiting my profile! I am excited that you've taken a second to learn about me and my work with Motivational Interviewing.
Motivational Interviewing is more than a set of skills or approach to behavior change. MI is about stepping into vulnerability, accessing genuineness and authenticity, and providing unconditional generosity and kindness to others. For this reason, MI is challenging AND incredibly powerful. I love helping people access this head and heart space and providing ample opportunity to engage in skill development. It's time to get to work! Let's go!
